Once you have the scores at the conclusion of the Comprehensive Rehab Assessment (CRA), it’s important to communicate them with your key hospital stakeholders. This is an important meeting, the goal of which is to come to an agreement with the Rehab Department’s priorities, to align your efforts and resources with your hospital’s vision and goals. HRS will work with you to achieve the best possible outcomes in all areas for your rehab department through this process.
The Importance of Establishing Goals and Timeframes for Your Hospital’s Rehab Department
After discussing the CRA scores with your key hospital stakeholders and established what “success” looks like for you and your rehab department, it’s time to set up the plan of attack.
Setting up realistic targets, tasks, and timeframes for your hospitals’ rehab department is vital to achieving your definition of success. The CRA scores help establish a standard baseline to work from, and realistic expectations for improvement can be created using those metrics.
When devising these targets, it’s important to ensure they are in alignment with the Four Pillars of Success, a tenant of HRS. As a reminder, the Four Pillars are:

- Client Satisfaction
